Amazingly good, a great breakfast for a busy day and a mountain hike.
I give this a 7/10 overall. The chicken was 10/10. Breaded and cooked perfectly! Paired with the waffle was good. I'm not a big waffle person but this was recommended. Waffle was just a normal waffle.
The best chicken ever! I eat chicken a lot and I love chicken so I'm picky and I know when it's a keeper. This back country deep fried chicken is just the best. It's moist and juicy, so tender and delicious and crispy too. Yummmm! Will be back tomorrow for some more!
The Julian Apple Burger is an absolute masterpiece! This 1/2 lb burger stuffed with shredded apples is a game-changer. Topped with caramelized onions, bleu cheese crumbles, and a special maple mustard sauce, it's a harmonious blend of savory and sweet. The combination of juicy patty, tender apples, and creamy bleu cheese is a delight for the taste buds! The caramelized onions add a rich depth of flavor. The real star, though, is the maple mustard sauce, with its velvety texture and perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The Julian Apple Burger is a culinary gem that showcases creativity and attention to detail. It's a unique and stupendous flavor experience that will leave you craving more. Don't miss out on this delight!
These are 10/10. I would come back a million times just for the breaded mushrooms and ranch! These are perfectly breaded and the mushrooms cooked to perfection! They had sooo much flavor even with out the ranch! Spot on!!!
The apple pumpkin pie is seriously why we go to Julian each year.
My friends stop by a couple days ago and picked up the chicken pot pies. We had them tonight and I must say they are the best pot pies I have ever had. Now my question is where in San Diego County can I find them?
This is my first time here at Julian and eating out was amazing. I loved the food and their potato skins were really good. My meatloaf came with a bunch of gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Extremely filling. I also really liked the atmosphere since my boyfriend and I were just reading all the different type of jams, and salsas they had. The pricing wasn't too expensive nor cheap. Right in the middle.
